We use this medium to glorify the Almighty God for his protection and blessings over us from the beginning of the year 2020 till this moment. MID-TERM BREAK: The school closes for the mid-term break on 14th February 2020.
Resumption: Boarders are expected to resume on Sunday 23rd February, 2020 for the second half of the term.
SCHOOL FEES: Debtors shall not be allowed into the school immediately after the mid-term break.
ADMISSION FORM: Our admission forms into JS1, 2 and SS1 are still available for sale at #10,000each. Intending parents are expected to obtain the forms at the school’s Bursary Department.
STUDENTS DRESSING: Every student is expected to resume with very low hair-cut, decent uniforms and very low finger- nails.
NB: It is now compulsory for every students in the school to have the school’s Brown Blazers and Cardigans. Any student who resumes without the items shall be sent home.
MID-TERM BREAK ASSIGNMENT: Parents are to ensure that their wards do the assignments given to them by their subject teachers. The assignments shall be posted on the school’s website: www.mbhslagos.com.ng.
MID-TERM RESULT: Parents are to access the results on the school App https://mbhslagos.com.ng/app on 20th Feb, 2020.
142ND INTER-HOUSE SPORTS COMPETITION/FOUNDERS DAY: The events are slated for 12th and 14th March, 2020 respectively. Parents and well-wishers are cordially invited to the events.
PTA GENERAL MEETING: The PTA’s general meeting comes up on Sunday 1st March, 2020at 1pm. Venue: the school’s Hall.
BECE REGISTRATION: The BECE registration will commence soon. Parents are hereby advised to submit their wards bio-data forms
EDUCATIONAL TABLETS: Parents who have procured the school’s educational tablets for their wards are advised to inscribe their wards’ names on the items. Parents who are yet to procure the tabs for their wards are hereby advised to do so.

The entire School was set agog when these distinguished OldBoys started arriving to celebrate the School that made them.
The young boys of the 70s who are now big men, shakers and movers of the world started exchanging pleasantries, cracking jokes to reminiscent their days of yore and how rascally some them were when they were in School.
It was actually a day to mark the tradition of excellence that was impacted on them when they were Students and which made them what they are now.
Among them where reputable Professors in various Universities here in Nigeria and abroad. Captains of Industries, serving and retired Army Generals, seasoned Administrators,Legal luminaries and Businessmen among others.
Apart from wining and dinning with the Students,the occasion was staged in the School to encourage the present Students that they too can become great and that they needed to imbibe the School moto “Non Sibi, Sed Aliis” e.i “Not for us but for others” in to to .
This the set demonstrated when they gave TEN INDIGENT but BRILLIANT students ONE HUNDRED THOUSANDS NAIRA financial assistance to each Student.
The Students that benefited from the financial assistance are:

To proof that “Teachers rewards” are on earth,some of their former Teachers were also honoured.
Among the former Teachers honoured was Mr Sóewu,an Old Boy himself who taught Physics in the School and later became the School Principal.
The Set was happy on the accelerated development of the School and still promised to assist the School towards its growth.
On the 13th December, 2019, AGWU EKENEDILICHUKWU was recognized and celebrated as the second place winner of Quramo Junior Writers’ Competition on the topic : THE WORLD IN 2030.
A Certificate of Merit was presented to him in this regard.
It is important to note that AGWU EKENEDILICHUKWU has been previously recognized as one of top ten in Nigeria, in this competition about two years ago. From the top ten, he was celebrated as the overall second place winner as well as Lagos State Champion (1st in Lagos).
Though Agwu Ekenedilichukwu was not around to receive the award, Master Ikem Onwuchuruba received the Certificate on his behalf.
